Amanua is a Transportation Engineer with experience delivering data-driven, safety-focused solutions across the United States, spanning planning, traffic operations, and infrastructure. Rooted in early professional experience in Ghana and a deep commitment to African development, she is passionate about applying global best practices to advance sustainable, inclusive mobility on the continent. As President of the Ghana Transportation Professionals Forum, she is dedicated to connecting professionals worldwide, fostering knowledge exchange, and championing resilient transportation systems for Ghana and Africa. Outside of work, Amanua is a proud wife and mother of two who finds joy in the company of good friends and family.

NatDave is a transportation engineering PhD candidate at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He also serves as a policy advisor to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. His work spans intelligent transportation systems, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, traffic signal control and simulation, and transportation planning, with a core mission of making cities safer and more livable. Off the clock, he explores global transit and cycling networks.

Moses is a Traffic Engineer who holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in civil engineering from KNUST and the University of Kansas, respectively. His hobbies include cooking, watching movies, and playing and watching football.

Akua is a pavement engineering Master’s student at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Her work focuses on asphalt materials, sustainable pavement design, and performance evaluation of recycled asphalt mixtures. Beyond her academic work, she creates content sharing insights on studying abroad and navigating life as an international student. In her free time, she enjoys watching K-dramas, exploring fashion, and capturing moments through photography.

Dr. Kofi Adanu is a transport safety researcher, educator, and transport infrastructure financing expert with more than a decade of experience spanning academia, policy, and applied transportation research across Africa and the United States. He currently serves as Research Professor at The University of Alabama, where he leads and collaborates on multidisciplinary projects focused on transportation safety analytics, mobility systems, and infrastructure policy. His interdisciplinary training uniquely positions him at the intersection of engineering, statistics, business, and public policy. He has authored or co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers published in leading journals. Beyond research, Dr. Adanu is actively engaged in global road safety leadership. He has facilitated international workshops, mentoring researchers and practitioners in road safety management and transport planning and infrastructure financing. Dr. Adanu is particularly passionate about translating research into practical policy solutions for safer, more sustainable, and equitable transportation systems, with a strong focus on Africa’s rapidly evolving mobility landscape.

Serwaa is a transportation engineer and PhD researcher at Tennessee State University, with a focus on transportation systems, freight optimization, and data driven decision making. Her work supports improved transportation networks, logistics, and supply chain efficiency, with a special interest in addressing transportation challenges in Ghana and across Africa. She has experience in transportation operations, safety analysis, asset management, intelligent transportation systems, and infrastructure planning. Her current research focuses on freight system optimization and economic impact assessment.Beyond her professional work, Serwaa is passionate about mentorship, personal growth, career development, entrepreneurship, and faith based service. She enjoys meaningful conversations, exploring new ideas, and spending time with family.

Collins is a civil engineer with a special interest in transportation infrastructure development. He is pursuing a PhD at the joint College of Engineering, Florida A & M University-Florida State University. His work centers on multi-scale characterization of asphalt pavement materials, balanced mix design, and sustainable pavement materials. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.

Marvin Osei-Kuffour is a PhD student at the University of South Florida, where his research focuses on Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions to alleviate traffic congestion. His work also explores drone technology and computer vision applications for traffic monitoring, alongside developing robotics and manufacturing skills for drone design. Marvin is a researcher at the Smart Urban Mobility (SUM) Lab within the Center for Urban Transportation Research(CUTR), where he contributes to the development of simulation platforms for AAM and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications. Marvin enjoys visiting the beach, travelling and sightseeing at his leisure..
